Chicago White Sox Re-signs Paul Konerko

At the annual winter meetings for baseball, the White Sox made a bold move by re-signing Paul Konerko. The Cubs on the other hand stayed very conservative without making any such decisions.
Sox chairman Jerry Reinsdorf is expected to have a meeting with Craig Landis, Paul Konerko’s agent on Monday. Reinsdorf is well-known to close deals quickly. Rumor has it that Konerko will return to the South Side of Chicago for about $13 million over two years, with a 3rd year option included.
