If you are caught going just 6-10 mph over the speed limit, you can get a $50.00 fine. If you are going 11 mph over the speed limit, then you will face a $100 fine. Many people say that the cameras won’t actually make Chicago a safer place, and they only thing that will come from this will be the state getting money. The people in charged of the bill disagree,and feel this will indeed help make Chicago a safer place. So the next time you drive by a school or park, make sure to check that speedometer a little closer.
