Traveling Abroad

If you ever need to get away from Chicago, there are a lot of places you can go- but I definitely recommend going abroad. Recently, I took a trip to Australia to visit some of my family that moved there, and I loved it! I was worried that traveling so far away would be difficult, and I was especially worried about making travel arrangements. Luckily I used a great website and traveling was much easier!

ZUJI Singapore Review – Easy to Use Online Travel Agency

www.zuji.com.sg
I always used to book trips and family vacations the old fashioned way, other wise known as the expensive way. I’d make reservation in my destination of choice at a hotel with rates that seemed cheap, without bothering to look around to make sure I was getting the best deal possible for my money. I’d follow a similar strategy with the airline I picked – as long as I got there, I figured any airline was good enough. Obviously, this is not a great way to do things. I did the calculations recently, only to find that I could have saved myself thousands of dollars over the years if I had just compared rates for hotels, airfare, and car rentals. Continue reading

Planning My Winter Trip

I know that we’re just entering Spring, but I’m already planning my trip for the winter. I live in Chicago, and it gets way too cold in the winter. Once the temperature hits under 40 degrees, I start counting down the days until I go away. I go to the same place every year, and there’s no reason to change this. Continue reading

Trip To Chicago

It’s been a really busy year for me, and I have yet to go anywhere on vacation. I’ve been feeling a little stressed out, and I knew I needed to get away soon. The only problem was that I’m a little low on cash, and I can’t afford a long vacation. My friend then invited me to go on a quick trip to Chicago, which won’t cost me that much money at all. Looking Back At My Trip To San Francisco

My friend and I recently took a trip to San Francisco, and I have to say it was probably one of the best trips I’ve been on. I had never even been to California, so I guess it was so much fun because it was a new place. Finding a good vacation spot for my friend and I isn’t always the easiest thing to do. Being that she’s gay, she often feels that she needs to go somewhere that many gays go to. I had no idea where a place like that could be, so I did some research and found that San Francisco, Castro Area is a great place for gays to travel to. Here’s some tips if you choose to go there as well. Stay at Hotel Diva or the Westin in SOMA. Both of these places were beautiful, and I can’t really say anything negative about them. One place that I spent a little too much money at was “Best in Show”, which is a cute little dog toy shop. If you are a dog lover, then don’t skip that store! Finish up the day by going to “Blush”, which is a laid back wine bar.

Trust me, you won’t regret this trip!

Parking in Miami

Flying in and out of Chicago can be very expensive. I’ve flown from coast to coast and all up and down the Eastern Seaboard. One thing’s for certain: no matter where I go, I always keep coming back to The Windy City. Having been on many airlines, I’ve flown in every seating arrangement imaginable. You name it: Coach, Business Class and First Class –  I’ve flown them all. But no matter which class I fly, one thing remains constant – the cost for parking. This is a cost that most people forget to factor into their travel expenses. This prompted me to do some research and low and behold, cheap airport parking is available. For example, if you have a need for Miami airport parking, you’ll find that it’s available at a discount. The beauty of saving money on parking is that it doesn’t affect your comfort level. Think about it: you can either get packed into the worst seats in Coach, or you can save money by planning your parking effectively. Which would you choose? I know my choice, and it doesn’t involve lowering my comfort level on a long flight. So, do your research and check out some of these services. Perhaps you’ll do this on your next vacation in Chicago! I think you’ll find a good solution to your parking woes, with just a little bit of digging.

Planning a Vacation? Consider Chicago!

If you want to plan a vacation this fall, without spending an arm and a leg, consider Chicago as your destination. Chicago has a rich history, great shopping, ample tourism, and popular sporting events no matter what professional sport you favor.

Chicago has several awesome tourist areas. Navy Pier (depending on the weather) is great for wearing out the kids. The roller coasters, games and giant Ferris wheel can occupy even the busiest child, but it is fun for adults and teenagers too. Another great family destination, the Shedd Aquarium and Field Museum are just a short walk away from the pier and offer reasonably-priced entry.

For the dare-devil in your life, taking a trip to the top of the Willis Tower (formerly the Sears Tower) provides breathtaking views of the Lake Michigan and the surrounding city. If you’re afraid of heights, the shopping on the ground, especially near the Miracle Mile, is sure to delight. A visit to the bean would satisfy the photographer in your life, and it’s worth a visit even if you’re just using a Polaroid. Chicago offers entertainment to keep you busy day and night, no matter your age.

Chicago is a great tourist destination because are activities suitable for the entire family. If you are struggling to plan a vacation around your family, I recommend visiting blogs and websites that provide more information about the area. For example, if you were planning a San Francisco get-away, visiting this San Francisco blog would provide you with unique information. Happy vacationing!
